WHAT WE CAN DO TO IMPROVE YOUR FACILITY
At TCOA we see to it that our client transplant facilities are given the best opportunity to save as many lives as possible. Our proven system of call/page readiness with DonorNet, pre-arranged screening service, and transportation coordination allows us to ensure this happens. By eliminating unnecessary steps, and being professionally efficient every potential transplant has the best chance of becoming a reality.
When an organ anywhere in the United States becomes conceivably available for transplant we are notified immediately on behalf of our client recipient center via (DonorNet). Next we decide for the surgeons whether or not to accept or decline an organ based on previously discussed & understood preferences. If we accept an organ on behalf of the surgeon we also assist in the necessary surgical timeline. Lastly we begin the transport organization to make sure the organ gets from point A to B as quickly and expertly as possible.
DonorNet Call Coverage – Our recipient hospital/client will authorize TCOA’s qualified and experienced professionals to be the contact for each offer with UNOS.
Pre-screen Due Diligence – We consult with the center(s) surgeon(s) we with work to see to it we have full understanding as to the criteria each surgeon wants for each organ. So as to pre-screen the organs and alleviate them
of undesirable offers.
Transport Service– We have a large network of charters and couriers on call and contracted to see to it our client’s organ(s) are delivered to their destination properly and quickly.
Stat Tracking – Being a partner /client with TCOA gets you call tracking. We will collect the data of how many calls we take for you and organs your center transplants.
